The YAMATO GROUP company was founded in 2014 by two daughter economic agents in the Republic of Moldova, operating in the supply sector on the Moldovan and Ukrainian markets for over 10 years. In 2016 YAMATO GROUP in Ukraine was reorganized on the basis of a previously operating ukrainian economic agent. The company YAMATO EXPRESS SRL was established in 2017 which operates in Romania and is a part of the international group of companies YAMATO GROUP. Over the past 10 years, the group of companies YAMATO GROUP has managed to take the leading positions in the supply of products for Japanese and Asian cuisine on the markets of Ukraine, Moldova and Romania. YAMATO GROUP is in distribution partnership relations with the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers, and has established itself as a reliable supplier of quality products on the regional market.
YAMATO GROUP's main external partners are JFC International Inc. (Kikkoman, Nishiki, Botan) and Thai Agri Foods Plc. (Aroy-D), with which relationships of mutual trust are established. YAMATO GROUP also produces a wide range of products under the YAMATO brand, such as: pickled ginger, sushi rice, various noodles (soba, udon, ramen), wasabi powder, sauces (soy, sesame), fish caviar (tobikko, masago), roasted eel in unagi kabayaki sauce, seaweed (Nori, hyashi wakame seaweed salad, dried wakame seaweed, kombu), miso soy paste, bamboo chopsticks, bamboo leaves, edamame.
